This is the section of my site where I share with you the comic/comic book projects I've worked on.

Sideshow

This is my new comic strip for tastes like chicken. I figured I'd be nice and give you all a preview of what's to come from it. Look for these both online and in print at www.tlchicken.com.

Mike the Unemployed Superhero in Smalltalk- Summer 2006

Written by Nathan Patton, this six page ditty is a rare foray into comedy for me. I'm really proud of it. This is one of Nathan's regular characters and I believe it's going into an a "Mike the Unemployed Superhero anthology" sometime soon. I'll update the site with ordering info when the book becomes available. The link opens a .PDF file that requires you to have Adobe Acrobat Reader or a similar viewer to read.

Segue pages for Nathan Patton

These are 5 pages that will be used in an anthology of Nathan's stories. They'll come in the beginning, between each story, and at the end of the book. Most of them are single page scenes, except for pages three and four, they go together. The link opens a .PDF file that requires you to have Adobe Acrobat Reader or a similar viewer to read.

The Wannabes #1 from Ronin Studios is on sale now through comixpress! (Just to to the "publishers" drop down menu on the right and click on Ronin Studios.) I was lucky enough to provide the grayscaling for this issue, so now I'm lucky enough to provide you with a little preview! Check these out then go buy it! This issue was written by Nathan Patton and illustrated by John Ruiz.

This is a story I both inked and grayscaled for Ronin Studios it's called Rob a Bank and appears in Ronin Illustrated #3, avialable now. So check out comixpress.com and go to the Ronin Studios section to get your official copy!

This story, for Ronin Illustrated #4 is called Tall Tales. I inked and grayscaled this one too. It is also now available via comixpress.com, so what are you waiting for?!

Smiley's Story- Summer2005

This four page short was written by Terrence Willitts and follows the simple life of a pup waiting to be adopted from the animal shelter in which she resides. Make sure you take a look, I think it turned out really well. The link opens a .PDF file that requires you to have Adobe Acrobat Reader or a similar viewer to read.

Crisis of Faith Prelude- Summer 2004

This is a four page story, written by Rob Adams, intended to be the beginning of a book we'd like to get off of the ground in the relatively near future. There may or may not be updates here on this project, depending on the response it gets. If you like it, make sure you tell me and I'll put up some more when we really get going on this. Personally, I think this is some of my best work to date. The link opens a .PDF file that requires you to have Adobe Acrobat Reader or a similar viewer to read.

Toy Soldiers-Spring 2004

This is a nine page comic I illustrated as a submission to the Small Press Expo (SPX) 2004 anthology book. It was written by my buddy and regular collaborator Rob Adams. The theme for the book is "WAR." I'll post an update here later in the year when I find out whether or not the story makes it into the book. This is the first comic I've done after a year of just being stumped for ideas and motivation (after three projects that all stalled out), so I'm pretty proud of this story. *UPDATE- Sadly, the story did not make it into the SPX anthology. However, my good friends at tastes like chicken (in particular pen and think editor Night Watchman) decided that it would be a good idea to run it in the October, 2004 online issue. It's in a slightly modified "web comic" format. Head over there and check it out!
